Honoring My Grandmother's Legacy

Rasheedah’s Love Biscuits comes from a rich lineage from the Golden Triangle Region of Mississippi. A recipe born through my grandmother, Ophelia Tillman, in the early 1900s. She prided herself in giving those who came to her table love, peace, and comfort through her food.
My grandmother’s biscuits were a labor of love; you could taste it in every morsel. She passed this recipe down to my mother, Carolyn Omar, and my Aunt Earlean Deans, who taught me how to bake biscuits. Three generations later I’m still making the biscuits the same way they taught me.

Rasheedah Love for baking biscuits began at the age of 9 years old with her grandmother's recipe. Her aunt Earlean taught her how to bake biscuits and her Mom helped her perfect it throughout the years. Rasheedah has baked these delicious love biscuits for every occasion and events throughout the years and served with love.
